Axtra3D, Keyprint Collaborate to Launch KeySplint Hard Clear as New Axtra.Solution on Lumia.X1

CHARLOTTE, NC, USA, Jul 29, 2026 – Axtra3D, Inc., an emerging leader in advanced additive manufacturing, continues to expand its offerings in the Dental market by launching KeySplint Hard Clear in partnership with Keystone Industries. This collaboration introduces an abrasion resistant, biocompatible, and easily cleaned material that is perfectly formulated for use in post-trauma tooth immobilization and retainers alike. This is the second Keyprint material validated on the Lumia.X1, alongside KeyModel Ultra, with additional material validations in process:

  • KeyOrtho Model
  • KeyGuide
  • KeySplint Soft
  • KeySplint Soft Clear

“We are pleased to announce the successful validation of KeySplint Hard Clear. This achievement marks another important milestone in our trusted and productive collaboration, reinforcing our shared commitment to delivering innovative, high-quality solutions,” says Miguel Perez, Senior VP of Sales at Keystone. “We are proud to provide our mutual customers with a validated solution that consistently delivers outstanding results.”

KeySplint Hard Clear provides unmatched strength and durability, as it must withstand daily use. Its stain and abrasion resistant technology enables retainers and splints to not only withstand wear from chewing, tooth grinding, and drinking, but also withstand constant contact with the wearers’ teeth without any change to the physical properties of the material. And because the parts require a perfect fit to each user, the Lumia.X1’s near-isotropic accuracy makes it a perfect pairing.

“Our partnership with Keystone is designed to improve dental lab productivity across multiple applications,” Axtra3D’s CSO, Rajeev Kulkarni, states. “Dental wearables need to have both durability and precise fit accuracy, and the combination of KeySplint Hard and the Lumia.X1 provides this.

Not only does this combination create wear-ready parts with minimal post-processing, but it also provides consistent, stable outcomes that allow for dental labs to reduce variability in results, leading to a more streamlined workflow.”

Axtra3D has consistently demonstrated its ability to deliver high-performance dental prints that meet the demanding requirements of advanced manufacturing environments. The introduction of KeySplint Hard® Clear builds on this foundation, enabling broader application coverage across the dental market.

About Axtra3D

Based in the US and Italy, Axtra3D is a global company specializing in Hi-Speed SLA systems that eliminates tradeoffs between print throughput, accuracy, feature resolution, and surface finish typically found in traditional SLA or DLP systems.

The flagship Lumia.X1 Hi-Speed SLA system by Axtra3D represents a significant advancement, combining its Hybrid PhotoSynthesis resin polymerization process with TruLayer, a layer separation technology. HPS utilizes both a laser and a DLP to image simultaneously, while TruLayer enables rapid detachment of the active print layer, resulting in a 20X throughput improvement while preserving the accuracy and fidelity of SLA parts.

Axtra3D operates with two business models.

Axtra Solutions: This model provides fully optimized, turnkey 3D printing solutions. Customers receive complete print profiles fine-tuned for maximum performance and reliability, supported by Axtra3D’s Applications team and quality material partners.

Axtra OpenAccess: This model further builds on Axtra Solutions™ and allows customers the flexibility to experiment with new materials and applications. It supports innovation and adaptability, enabling added flexibility.
