The community of VOLTA and modeFRONTIER enthusiasts is coming together in Italy this June, to discover the evolution of ESTECO Technology and hear from industry leaders the likes of GE Aerospace, Cummins, Luna Rossa and Dumarey.
Trieste, Italy, 9 April 2026 – ESTECO, an independent software provider specialized in design optimization and simulation process and data management, has unveiled the 2026 edition of the ESTECO International Users’ Meeting (UM26). This conference is scheduled for 16 and 17 June, 2026, at Marina Monfalcone, Italy — just a short distance from the company’s headquarters in Trieste.
This biennial event brings together the global VOLTA and modeFRONTIER user communities and is expected to draw over 200 participants and 40 presenters. Keynote speakers include leaders from GE Aerospace, Cummins, Luna Rossa, and Dumarey. On 18 June, the event continues with hands-on workshops hosted at the company’s premises.

UM26 serves as a forum for knowledge sharing among ESTECO software users. Attendees will hear from industry leaders across various sectors, focusing on the latest developments in digital engineering and practical applications of ESTECO’s solutions. They will also explore the upcoming innovations, product roadmaps, research activities and strategic direction of ESTECO Technology, by directly engaging with the company’s specialists and developers.
A technology pioneer since its early days, ESTECO is now making a strategic commitment to AI research and development as a core driver of innovation. “AI-powered autonomous systems are reshaping our lives and our engineering experience. Under the theme Navigating the agentic frontier, our 2026 International Users’ Meeting will touch on this major shift, which lets us further advance our long-term commitment of making complexity invisible,” states Carlo Poloni, President of ESTECO.
The confirmed lineup highlights the broad utility of VOLTA and modeFRONTIER across global industries. Confirmed keynote speakers for the event include:
- John Bloomberg, Senior Engineer and Digital Integration Leader in Systems Engineering at GE Aerospace. He will detail how GE Aerospace enhances its digital engineering strategy through VOLTA BPMN to manage and link engineering handoffs across product design.
- Bob Tickel, Director of Multidisciplinary Simulation at Cummins Inc. A veteran engineering leader, Bob will discuss the evolution of simulation-driven product development, focusing on the role of optimization, automation, and robustness in his keynote.
- Ivan Flaminio Cozza, Analysis Technical Leader Automation and Optimization at Dumarey Automotive Italia. Ivan will focus on digital transformation and AI/ML adoption, presenting insights on VOLTA as an enabler of Dumarey’s digital strategy.
- Andrea Vergombello, Senior CFD Engineer and Simone Bartesaghi, CFD Specialist at Luna Rossa, will share the advantages of their integrated CFD–optimization workflow for the hydrodynamic and aerodynamic development of AC75 foiling yachts.
Nearly 30 speakers from leading corporations and academic institutions are already confirmed including Avio, Hitachi Energy, Honda Development & Manufacturing of America, Jaguar Land Rover, Leonardo Aircraft, MBDA Italia, Micron Memory Japan, Nextchem, and Stellantis.
Marina Monfalcone, home of the Redbull Sailing Academy, is located on the Adriatic coast – just 40 minutes from Trieste – and offers the ideal location to chart a course into the new frontiers of digital engineering.
