ST. PETERSBURG, Russia, Apr 10, 2026 – ASCON is excited to announce the winners of XXIII 3D Modeling Expert Contest, an annual event for professional KOMPAS-3D users. Every year, the competition allows experienced designers and young professionals to showcase their skills.
In 2025, ASCON received 108 projects from 63 companies using KOMPAS-3D.

1st place – 4-strand continuous casting machine
The continuous casting machine casts low- and high-carbon, high-alloy, and stainless steel grades into high-quality billets with customizable cross-section and length.

The mower is designed for agriculture and municipal services. It can mow the edges of airfields, highways, and waterways. The boom and rotor are floating.

2nd place – Components of the Kaplan KP3000 hydroelectric generator No. 2, Grodno Hydro Power Plant
The components enable trouble-free operation of one of the largest hydro power plants in Belarus: Grodno HPP. A distinctive feature of this plant is that it does not affect the river flow, as it runs on domestic wastewater only.

3D printer (FFF technology) with a print area of 300×200×290 mm. The 3D printer is intended for schools, universities, and design contractors.

1st place – Condensate stabilization unit, Achimovsk deposit development project
The condensate stabilization unit rectifies condensate with high quality. The project is an assembly of four components (evaporator, column, heat exchanger, and air cooler), part of the utilities module, and the interconnectors.
