Lantek will once again be present at the 32nd edition of the Biennial Machine-Tool Exhibition (BIEMH 2024). This major industrial event will take place at the Bilbao Exhibition Centre from June 3rd to 7th.

Joining over 1,250 exhibitors from around the world, Lantek will showcase a wide range of advanced solutions and new manufacturing functionalities, along with the latest versions of its software solutions: Lantek ExpertLantek Flex3DLantek MES & Integra, and Lantek Bend, aimed at all types of companies in the sheet metal sector.

Lantek’s presence at BIEMH 2024 reaffirms its international position in the CAD-CAM/MES/ERP solutions sector for sheet metal, with the goal of supporting its clients in improving process efficiency to enhance competitiveness.

Joseba Montoya, Commercial Director for Spain and Portugal at Lantek, stated, “It is a pleasure to be part of one of the sector’s most important events once again, demonstrating all the customized and flexible technological solutions that Lantek can offer. BIEMH is the perfect showcase to demonstrate our commitment to innovation and new developments focused on process automation, machine connectivity, and data analysis, which contribute to improving industry productivity and competitiveness and allow us to respond to both technological and economic and social challenges in the sector.”

Lantek will be at stand E-31 in Hall 5, where the focus will be on large machines in operation, offering a live industrial and technological spectacle.

Lantek’s New Innovations at BIEMH: Machine Connectivity and Assembly to Nesting

Among the technological advancements Lantek will present at the fair is the integration of Machine Connectivity technology into its software, enabling real-time data reception from cutting machines, regardless of model or manufacturer.

This new technology allows the introduction of two new products at BIEMH 2024. The first, Live WOS, leverages real-time data to precisely control times, thereby improving production scheduling and job costing efficiency.

Additionally, the new Control Panel will be showcased, providing a real-time overview of the workshop, allowing manufacturing managers a comprehensive system for visualizing what is always happening with each machine or line and from any device.

Lantek will also present the innovative Assembly to Nesting (A2N) functionality, designed to address the growing demand for more efficient handling of 3D files by its clients. A2N is an advanced importer of 3D parts and assemblies known for its ability to automatically unfold sheet metal parts. Its benefits are significant: rapid processing of 3D models, elimination of the need for external 3D CAD tools, and total accuracy in part unfolding thanks to user-defined rules.

In addition, Lantek will showcase new functionalities of the Lantek MES and Lantek Integra products with Lantek Flex3D. With all these innovations, included in the latest update, Lantek advances in its maturity stage towards the most flexible tube and profile cutting solution, improving usability, automation capabilities, and integration with the company’s factory management solutions.

Commitment to Innovation for the Industrial Sector

Investment and a commitment to R&D have been key in Lantek’s over 35-year journey and in maintaining its technological leadership in the sector. The close collaboration with more than 150 leading machine tool manufacturers worldwide supports this commitment to lead the sector’s transformation through software.

To support this major commitment, Lantek has doubled its R&D team over the past two years to accelerate the commercial launch of pioneering products in the sheet, tube, and metalworking market.
