MachineWorks to Preview MachineWorks 8.7, Polygonica 3.5 at EMO, Formnext

SHEFFIELD, UK, Jun 27, 2025 – MachineWorks Ltd. to display the latest releases of Polygonica and MachineWorks at EMO, September 22nd – 26th, Hannover, and at Formnext, November 18th – 21st, Frankfurt.

MachineWorks 8.7 brings the official release of MachineWorks GPU, which when enabled can give considerable improvements to performance. Large 3-axis and 5-axis jobs are performed in seconds rather than minutes, with mid-sized jobs being completed in less than a second.

At EMO, previews of the upcoming Polygonica 3.5 release will be available, with the full range of new functionality on display at Formnext.

This includes:

  • Quad creation from seamless UV solver
  • Automatic seam edge placement for UV wrapping
  • Tangential surface extension
  • Improvements to surface creation and deformation
  • Find curvature minima with respect to a specific axis
