WAAM3D Joins CCAM as Technology Member, Launches First RoboWAAM System in US

MILTON KEYNES, UK, Nov 13, 2025 – WAAM3D, a global leader in wire arc additive manufacturing (WAAM) technology, is proud to announce its official membership in the Commonwealth Center for Advanced Manufacturing (CCAM). As part of this strategic partnership, WAAM3D is introducing the first RoboWAAM system to be deployed in the United States at CCAM’s advanced manufacturing facility in Disputanta, Virginia.

Unveiling the RoboWAAM: A Leap Forward in Large-Scale Metal Additive Manufacturing

The RoboWAAM platform brings a revolutionary capability to the U.S. additive manufacturing ecosystem. Featuring WAAM3D’s high-productivity GMAX process, the system achieves a deposition rate of more than 15 kg/hour, providing unmatched throughput for large-scale, precision metal parts. With advanced software tooling, real-time monitoring, and closed-loop control, the RoboWAAM is engineered to handle demanding fabrication tasks in aerospace, defense, energy, heavy industry, and research.
