WiCAM Develops New Post-Processor for TRUMPF TruMatic 5000 (K11)

PFINZTAL-SOLLINGEN, Germany, Apr 3, 2026 – In the first quarter of 2026, WiCAM developed a new post-processor for the combined punching and laser system TRUMPF TruMatic 5000 (K11). It is now possible to efficiently program this state-of-the-art system, including its automatic loading and unloading unit, using our PN4000 programming system and to fully integrate it into existing manufacturing processes.

The new postprocessor expands the functionality of PN4000 and enables seamless connection of the current TruMatic generation to our programming system. This allows both punching and laser cutting processes to be created, optimised and transferred directly to the machine in a uniform programming environment. Users benefit from reliable implementation of complex machining strategies and optimal use of the combined machine functions.

The versatile modules and interfaces of our PN4000 programming system enable flexible contract manufacturing through to unmanned, fully automated process chains in industrial production.
