RAYONG, Thailand, Nov 20, 2025 – The ANCA Group has marked the 20th anniversary of its operations in Thailand with the announcement of a new investment of up to 360 million baht to expand production capacity, automation, and skills development initiatives.
The announcement was made during the ANCA Australia–Thailand Investment Showcase, held at ANCA’s Rayong facility to celebrate two decades of success and partnership between Australia and Thailand.
The event was attended by senior representatives from both governments and the business community, including Mrs. Chulamanee Chartsuwan, Advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Office of the Minister of Foreign Affairs – Thailand; Her Excellency Dr. Angela Macdonald PSM, Australia’s Ambassador to Thailand; Dr. Kirida Bhaopichitr, Vice Minister designate of Commerce – Thailand; and Ms. Tanita Sirisup, Deputy Secretary-General of the Thailand Board of Investment (BOI). They were joined by representatives from the Australia Thailand Business Council, AustCham Thailand, and the Federation of Thai Industries – underscoring the strong commitment from both nations to deepen bilateral trade and investment.
A Bold Vision Realised
Twenty years ago, ANCA made a bold decision to establish a manufacturing base in Thailand. What began in 2005 as a 1,500 sqm facility with 25 employees has evolved into a world-class regional hub – home to ANCA CNC Machines Thailand and ANCA Manufacturing Solutions (AMS). Today, ANCA Thailand employs over 440 people across five sites, producing thousands of machines and components that are exported worldwide.
Now, ANCA Thailand leads with lean, modular manufacturing techniques that have boosted productivity. Meanwhile, AMS has evolved far beyond its sheet metal roots. Rebranded in 2023, it now offers end-to-end manufacturing services—from design and fabrication to PCB integration, wiring, coatings, and global logistics—serving industries as diverse as EVs, energy storage, agriculture, and aerospace.
“Thailand has been central to ANCA’s global success story,” said Martin U. Ripple, Group CEO of ANCA. “Over the past 20 years, we’ve built world-class manufacturing capability in Rayong, created skilled jobs for Thai engineers and technicians, and contributed to Thailand’s position as a regional leader in precision manufacturing.”

The new investment brings ANCA’s total commitment in Thailand to 1.2 billion baht since 2005, aligning with its ANCA 2030 Strategy. The funds will support:
- Expansion of advanced automation and production capabilities, including robotics, AGVs, and digital systems.
- Establishment of a regional R&D laboratory for design engineering, motion systems, and automation.
- Development of a global logistics hub for ANCA’s motion and control systems business.
- Continued partnerships with Thai universities and technical colleges, including IRPC, Bankhai Technical College, and Burapha University International College, to deliver hands-on training in mechatronics, robotics, and smart manufacturing.
Celebrating Collaboration and Innovation
The anniversary event showcased the strength of the Australia–Thailand partnership, featuring an exhibition of leading Australian businesses operating in Thailand; Linfox, Callington, Gessner, Green Gold Energy, ASW Consulting, and Bevchain Logistics.
Ms Tanita Sirisup, Deputy Secretary-General of the Thailand Board of Investment, congratulated ANCA on its 20-year milestone: “ANCA’s investment stands as a model example of how advanced manufacturing and skilled workforce development can thrive in Thailand’s supportive business environment. Its success reflects the strength of the Thailand–Australia partnership in driving innovation, technology, and sustainable growth.”
Yanisa Ninlawong, General Manager of ANCA CNC Machines Thailand, reflected on the company’s growth: “I am extremely proud of the capabilities that our presence in Thailand has brought to ANCA. This location has been pivotal to our success – enhancing proximity to customers, supported by Thailand’s strong infrastructure and exceptional government support. Combined with the expertise and dedication of our Thai team, these factors make Thailand an essential part of ANCA’s global growth.”
A Strong Foundation for the Future
The impact of Thailand extends far beyond its borders. By incorporating selected manufacturing and component production into Rayong, ANCA freed its Melbourne headquarters to focus on advanced manufacturing, R&D, and innovation. As Ripple noted: “Australia remains our brain – Thailand gives us the scale to compete globally.”
This strategic balance has allowed ANCA to expand its product range into both premium and mid-market segments, while also helping insulate the Group against exchange rate volatility, trade restrictions, and supply chain risks.

20 Years of Innovation – Made Possible by People
The true story of ANCA in Thailand isn’t written in square metres or production numbers, but in people.
As Yanisa Ninlawong, General Manager of ANCA Machine Tools Thailand, added: “Our Thai facilities are world-class, but behind them are our wonderful teams – who demonstrate passion and teamwork every day.”
Nicholas Doyle, General Manager of ANCA Manufacturing Solutions, reflected: “This 20-year milestone is a true testament to our people, our partnerships, and our shared commitment to excellence.”
“Our journey in Thailand has been defined by collaboration, innovation, and shared values,” said Martin U. Ripple. “We’re proud to celebrate this milestone with our Thai partners – and we look forward to building the next 20 years and more of growth.”
