Greg Elfering, a 20-year veteran within the 3D Printing Industry, with past sales and revenue roles at 3D Systems, Stratasys, UltiMaker, and HP’s Additive Manufacturing business, has a proven track record of organic sales growth via direct and channel sales. As the EVP of Global Revenue, he will lead global sales and revenue with a strong focus on strengthening the worldwide reseller channels and strategic accounts. With senior sales roles at 3D Systems, Concept Laser, GE Additive, and Carbon, he too has a very diverse experience base in polymer and metals 3D Printing. Axtra3D will rely on Andreas’s expertise and experience in shaping the European reseller channel and sales organization. He joins having worked with the Axtra3D organization as a partner and leader of AMECOS.

With the growth of its dental solutions portfolio and a core value proposition of high resolution at high throughput, the HPS technology is extremely well-positioned for the production dental market. To lead its global dental efforts, with 20 years of 3D Printing experience, Axtra3D is appointing Steffen Reinfurth as the VP of Global Dental Revenue. With past technical and sales roles at Dentsply, Concept Laser, GE Additive, and Carbon, Steffen is perfectly suited to lead the dental market revenue and growth initiatives at Axtra3D.

Axtra3D’s CEO, Gianni Zitelli, says, “Our team feels very fortunate and proud to scale our revenue and growth team with these highly capable 3D Printing veterans and strengthen our commitment to growth. It helps develop Axtra3D’s path toward sustainable growth as its technologies become more entrenched in global installations. Their proficiency will help our customers effectively apply the HPS and TruLayer value propositions into their operations and business models. This is particularly important as we grow our reseller channel footprint and offer our Axtra Solutions™ and Axtra Access™ business models – one that provides our customers with fully tuned, complete solutions and the other that supports their business need to experiment with newer materials and applications.

With these three highly capable revenue leaders, and the recent addition of Rajeev Kulkarni as the Chief Strategy Officer, we have added more than 100 years of 3D Printing experience to guide Axtra3D through its growth phase. We encourage Additive Manufacturing resellers and channel partners to explore the Lumia X1 with HPS technology as part of their offerings.

“I am excited to also announce our entry into the Japanese market through our partnership with leading distributor DMM LLC, 3D Print Department, based in Tokyo. With their support, we have already placed multiple Lumia X1 units in Japan, marking a positive start to our presence in the region.”

Yu Inoue, Deputy Department Manager for DMM, 3D Print Department, indicates “As a leading service bureau in Japan, we take pride in being the first to introduce HPS technology to the Asian market. We have observed strong demand among Japanese manufacturing clients, especially in mold applications that require ceramic-like materials and end-use solutions. To support innovation in Japanese manufacturing, we are committed to promoting the Lumia X1 through distribution and service offerings. Its seamless integration of throughput, fidelity, and print reliability surpasses other SLA and DLP technologies.”

With Axtra3D opening its corporate headquarters in Charlotte, North Carolina in late 2023, the company has been ramping up its availability and installation of advanced 3D printing technologies. Axtra3D also operates a subsidiary in Vicenza, Italy, ensuring global reach for its unique offerings.

About Axtra3D

Based in the US and Italy, Axtra3D is a global company specializing in Hi-Speed SLA systems that eliminates tradeoffs between print throughput, accuracy, feature resolution, and surface finish, typically found in traditional SLA or DLP systems.

The flagship Lumia X1 Hi-Speed SLA system by Axtra3D represents a significant advancement, combining its Hybrid PhotoSynthesis resin polymerization process with TruLayer, a layer separation technology. HPS utilizes both a laser and a DLP to image simultaneously, while TruLayer enables rapid detachment of the active print layer, resulting in a 20X throughput improvement while preserving the accuracy and fidelity of SLA parts.

With a curated material portfolio, Axtra3D has developed over 15 certified solutions for industries such as Industrial, Healthcare, and Dental, serving a global customer base. These solutions range from direct-use ceramic molds to end-use electrical connectors, industrial parts, dental prosthetics, medical devices, jewelry patterns, and more. Axtra3D’s systems are available in North America, the EU, and Japan, and a broad range of customers have already benefitted from its diverse range of applications.
