James Murnieks Succeeds Angela Noon as CFO, Siemens UK and Ireland

MANCHESTER, UK, Feb 15, 2022 – Siemens plc has announced that James Murnieks has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for Siemens UK & Ireland, succeeding Angela Noon who leaves Siemens at her own request on 8th March 2022.

James has more than 20 years of experience in finance and has a passion for continuous improvement, people development and the value of finance and commercial teams as strategic partners within the business. He currently holds the role as the CFO of Region Europe for the Siemens Financial Services Commercial Finance business unit.  

James began his career at PriceWaterhouseCoopers, where he trained and worked as a financial auditor within the industry sector. He joined Siemens plc in 2004 in UK&I Internal Audit before moving to a finance role in Siemens IT Solutions. He has since held several leadership roles in Siemens Financial Services, including CFO roles in France, Germany, and the UK. 

James holds an Engineering degree from the University of Manchester, is a Fellow Chartered Accountant and member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants England and Wales.

James takes up his new role as CFO, Siemens plc and Head of Finance for Siemens Smart Infrastructure in the United Kingdom and Ireland from 1 February 2022.
