KARLSRUHE, Germany, Jan 8, 2024 – Chaos pleased to announce that, it has joined the Alliance for OpenUSD (AOUSD), an organization dedicated to fostering the standardization, development, evolution, and growth of OpenUSD –- an open-source, extensible software platform for collaboratively constructing animated 3D scenes, and a rising format in VFX, animation and beyond.
The Alliance for OpenUSD is committed to providing a unified platform for all 3D content creation tools, enabling artists and designers to seamlessly share and collaborate on their projects. By joining the Alliance, Chaos is taking a significant step in promoting the adoption of OpenUSD, which is already used by leading companies such as Pixar, Apple, NVIDIA, Autodesk, and more.
