A New Step in Industrial Polymer Additive Manufacturing

Over the past years, NMB and Farsoon have been closely collaborating to develop and optimize a full workflow for polymer additive manufacturing in series production.

This partnership has led to breakthrough progress in system integration, process automation, and material qualification — setting new standards for scalable, cost-efficient polymer AM.

The newly installed Flight HT601P-4 system will serve as the cornerstone for this next phase, enabling rigorous validation of serial production workflows under real industrial conditions.

Key capabilities of the Flight® HT601P-4 include:

• Large Build Volume (600 × 600 × 600 mm): Enabling high productivity and true series output.
• High-Temperature Processing (up to 220 °C): Unlocking performance materials such as PA6.
• Full Digital Process Control: Real-time monitoring, data logging, and consistency across production runs.
• Smart Powder Management: Automation and efficiency to minimize cost per part.

Nico Geis, Technology Transfer Expert and Team Leader of Additive Manufacturing (Polymer) – Neue Materialien Bayreuth GmbH, said: “The installation of Farsoon’s Flight HT601P-4 marks a major step toward validating polymer additive manufacturing for industrial production. This system enables us to bridge the gap between material research and scalable, automated production — a key enabler for our partners and industry clients.”

Leon Xu, Senior Technical Sales Manager – Farsoon Europe GmbH, said: “We are proud to see our collaboration with NMB progressing into real industrial validation. The Flight® HT601P-4 is designed for high productivity and material flexibility, which perfectly supports NMB’s mission to accelerate innovation in polymer AM series production.”
