3Dfindit Releases Asset Administration Shell AASX V3

AUGSBURG, Germany, Jul 25, 2024 – 3Dfindit has released an updated version of its Asset Administration Shell. AASX V3 is now available exclusively to users. New specifications improve data quality in terms of accuracy, completeness and interoperability.

Smooth engineering processes with AASX V3

The Asset Administration Shell (AAS) is the basis of Industry 4.0. It contains all the important data about a product throughout its lifecycle, such as the digital nameplate, technical data, 3D CAD data, or carbon footprint. If this data is incomplete, inaccurate or incompatible, it means a lot of manual effort, which is time consuming and costly.

To ensure interoperability and speed up engineering processes, there is now an update to 3Dfindit, AASX V3. The new features: Technical data and documents are now clearly summarized on one page, and the carbon footprint has been integrated as a new sub-model. AASX V3 is an extension of the previous version V2. Both versions are available now.

The new version AASX V3 now has the Carbon Footprint as a sub-model. The picture shows the administration in 3Dfindit on the left and the display in the Asset Administration Shell on the right.
