PLANO, TX, USA, Sep 29, 2026 – Siemens announced the latest updates to Simcenter Testlab software, helping engineering teams reduce manual work, deliver consistent results and make engineering decisions earlier. The new updates combine integrated testing workflows, automation and improved data management to accelerate the path from test setup to engineering insight. Enhancements span structural dynamics, system NVH prediction, AI-ready data preparation, and shock and vibration test preparation. These capabilities allow organizations to capture contextualized data earlier in development, supporting faster cycles and more informed decision-making.
“As products become more complex, engineering teams need to turn testing data into trusted insights,” said Bruno Massa, vice president, Simcenter Testing Solutions, Siemens Digital Industries Software. “The latest Simcenter Testlab updates help teams deliver results faster, validate earlier, and build the foundation for AI-driven testing.”
Key enhancements:
Accelerated engineering insights – The latest updates complete the transition toward next-generation workflows in Simcenter Testlab Neo software. Test engineers can execute integrated, end-to-end structural dynamics workflows with less manual effort, enabling non-experts to set up and execute tests consistently. These updates deliver up to 35 percent efficiency gains across the structural dynamics process. Additionally, new system NVH prediction workflows integrate component characterization with virtual prototyping, evaluating performance up to 60 percent faster before physical prototypes are built.

Building AI-ready data – Trustworthy AI requires structured, traceable and contextualized data. The latest updates integrate data acquisition, analysis and management into a single environment. Improved annotation and automation help teams create AI-ready datasets that are easily reusable. Simcenter Testlab also now complements physical test data with virtual data to train robust AI models.
De-risking critical testing earlier – New virtual shaker testing capabilities allow aerospace and defense teams to prepare for qualification and durability testing using simulation. By deriving models of the complete test setup, engineers can evaluate scenarios before applying full test levels to expensive physical hardware, reducing uncertainty and risk.

Automated NVH engineering – A new automated component model extraction solution reduces manual work in creating reusable models for system-level NVH analysis. These ISO-compliant workflows help teams scale component characterization across projects, enabling earlier decision-making based on test-based inputs.

The new automated component model extraction solution industrializes the NVH component characterization process per ISO 20270. It automates the measurement and extraction workflow, enabling repeatable, high-throughput component testing with minimal manual intervention.
Unlocking more value from Simcenter SCADAS at no extra cost – Available license-free, Simcenter Testlab Go and Simcenter SCADAS Go simplify time data acquisition, monitoring and validation with Simcenter SCADAS hardware – eliminating license administration, dongles and network dependencies while expanding access, deployment flexibility and the value of existing hardware investments.
