With so many point cloud formats and software available for data processing, compatibility and conversion have become essential to the productive use of the point cloud data.
Web View/Convert for Reality Capture explores the potential of converting point cloud files in a web browser using the Autodesk Reality Solutions SDK, the HOOPS Communicator SDK, and the HOOPS Exchange libraries.
Its functionality enables users to upload and view the Autodesk RCP/RCS files, and then convert them to one of the following HOOPS-supported formats: PCD, VTK, SCS, XYZ, 3MF, SAT, IGES, FBX, JT, X_T, PRC, STEP, STL, U3D, VRML, OBJ.
