Dassault, NIC Vietnam’s Collaborative Forum Unites 70 Leaders Across Industries to Accelerate Nation’s Semiconductor Rise

HANOI, Vietnam, Aug 25, 2025 – Dassault Systèmes (Euronext Paris: FR0014003TT8, DSY.PA) partnered with the National Innovation Center of Vietnam (NIC) to host the Business Leaders Forum. Centered on advancing Vietnam’s semiconductor ecosystem, the event brought together 70 senior executives from the semiconductor, technology, government, and academic sectors to accelerate the country’s ambitions through digital innovation, workforce development, and strategic collaboration

Held at the InterContinental Hanoi Westlake, the forum served as a strategic platform for multi-stakeholder dialogue on Vietnam’s ambition to achieve self-reliance in chip design, manufacturing, and testing by 2027, and to position itself as a key regional and global player. Discussions centered on advancing the semiconductor ecosystem through AI-driven innovation, addressing industry challenges, and leveraging scientific virtual twins. Other key topics included data-driven manufacturing and fab technology co-optimization (FTCO) and strategies for developing a future-ready workforce, with expert insights and regional case studies supporting the country’s global competitiveness.

“We are pleased to partner with NIC to bring together our virtual twins solutions, industry best practices and global expertise in support of Vietnam’s semiconductor ambitions. Together with NIC, Dassault Systèmes is committed to strengthening the innovation-led ecosystem and to building the digital talents for Vietnam”. Speakers included Dr. Vo Xuan Hoai, Vice Director of Vietnam’s National Innovation Center; Marie Keller, Acting Chargée d’Affaires, French Embassy in Vietnam; Mr. Le Xuan Que, Chief Technology Officer of Viettel IDC (the data center and cloud services arm of Viettel Group); and Associate Professor Dr. Pham Xuan Mai, Senior Advisor for Research and Development at Kim Long Motor Hue. Senior executives from Dassault Systèmes’ offices in China, India, Japan, and Korea shared expert insights on fostering innovation ecosystems, driving technology adoption, and strengthening regional competitiveness.

“Enhancing Vietnam’s digital capabilities is central to our mission. This forum fosters critical connections and resources to drive the country’s semiconductor ambitions and strengthen its position on the global stage.” Dr. Vo Xuan Hoai, Vice Director of Vietnam’s National Innovation Center.

This forum builds on the Memorandum of Understanding signed between Dassault Systèmes and NIC in 2024 to accelerate Vietnam’s digital transformation and strengthen its innovation ecosystem. The continued partnership underscores Vietnam’s commitment to training 50,000 semiconductor engineers by 2030, fostering a future-ready, innovation-driven workforce to sustain the country’s high-tech growth.
