PETALING JAYA, Malaysia, Oct 23, 2026 — Dassault Systèmes today officially inaugurated its renovated Malaysia office in Bandar Utama, Selangor, officiated by YB Gobind Singh Deo, Minister of Digital, and H.E. Marc Abensour, Ambassador of France to Malaysia, in attendance. The new office reflects 20 years of growth in Malaysia, from five employees at the start to a capacity of 440 today.
The new 51,000 square feet office spans two floors, and houses the DELMIA Hub, which builds, delivers and supports Dassault Systèmes’ customers worldwide with advanced planning and scheduling solutions, alongside with regional teams in shared services for finance and digital marketing. It also serves as a regional and global technology and delivery centre for engagements with leading industry players worldwide.
A Selangor base also places the team close to the Klang Valley’s talent, industry and government. For the last two decades, Dassault Systèmes has supported the digital transformation of the manufacturing industries such as E&E, automotive and aviation in Malaysia by partnering with government agencies, educational institutions and industry innovators to move up the value chain and to build the digital talents.
The office will support Malaysian manufacturers, including SMEs, in adopting industrial AI and virtual twin technology. By enabling companies to design, simulate and test products digitally before building them, these technologies help ground decisions in their own engineering data and expertise rather than generic tools. Applications include sustainable logistics, product durability and waste reduction.
The opening aligns with Malaysia’s national initiatives to advance manufacturing capabilities and adopt smart, digitally enabled production. By combining virtual twins with industrial AI, manufacturers can reduce prototyping costs and waste while shortening time to market.
“Digital technology goes beyond mobile applications and online services. It is the engine powering our factories, automotive sector and advanced manufacturing. Industrial AI and virtual twin technologies are critical to accelerating Malaysia’s goal of becoming a regional AI hub. Dassault Systèmes’ expanded presence in Malaysia will play a vital role in enabling local industries, especially our SMEs, to adopt cutting-edge digital solutions, innovate faster and compete on a global scale,” said YB Gobind Singh Deo, Minister of Digital.
“Malaysia has the strongest opportunity to move up the manufacturing value chain with Industrial AI. By combining virtual twin technology with the knowledge and know-how of engineers and industry experts, manufacturers can turn their expertise into practical outcomes, improving product quality, operational efficiency and sustainability. We are proud to deepen our presence in Malaysia, and this office is where that journey begins,” said Samson Khaou, Executive Vice President, Asia Pacific, Dassault Systèmes.
