DN Solutions Plans New Factory Near Bengaluru Airport

BENGALURU, India, Jan 27, 2025 – IMTEX – DN Solutions, a global leader in machine tools, has announced its participation in IMTEX 2025, India’s largest international machine tool exhibition. The event is being held at the Bengaluru International Exhibition Centre (BIEC, Hall 4, B108), under the theme “Shaping Tomorrow Together with India.”

At IMTEX 2025, DN Solutions is showcasing 10 state-of-the-art machine tools designed to boost the competitiveness of India’s manufacturing sector, solidifying its role as a global manufacturing hub.

500+ Local Hires for New Facility in India by 2032

DN Solutions unveiled detailed plans for establishing a new factory and R&D center in India. As part of a 600 crore INR (70 million USD) investment plan announced last year, the company aims to hire over 500 local employees by 2032.

The new facility will span 100,000 square meters (about 25 acres) in the ITIR industrial area near Bengaluru International Airport. Construction will begin this year, with operations slated to start in 2026. The ITIR industrial zone, home to global players like Foxconn, is praised for its skilled talent pool and rapidly advancing infrastructure.

India, with its vast population and rapidly growing economy, represents a key emerging market. The Indian government’s active promotion of manufacturing has attracted global companies to set up production facilities, driving growth in industries like automotive, electronics, and energy—and increasing demand for machine tools.

Neighbors with Foxconn

Renowned for its well-established manufacturing ecosystem and stable policies, Bengaluru hosts around 25% of India’s machine tool companies.

DN Solutions’ upcoming factory in Bengaluru will manufacture tailored products, such as the SVM 4100i machining center, a favorite among Indian customers. Some of these products are already on display at the IMTEX 2025 booth, drawing significant interest from prospective clients and industry leaders. Also featured are cutting-edge machines like the DVF 5000 2nd-generation 5-axis machining center and the PUMA SMX3100L multitasking machine.

With its investment in the new factory and R&D center, DN Solutions expects to strengthen its price and delivery competitiveness in the burgeoning Indian market. Since opening a technical center in India in 2008, the company has built a solid reputation and strong customer trust.

Young-sam Kim, Managing Director of DN Solutions India, stated, “The new factory and R&D center in Bengaluru will empower DN Solutions to achieve greater success, not only in India but across global markets.”
