WREXHAM, UK, Aug 19, 2021 – Motor Design Ltd (MDL) is pleased to announce that Giada Venturini, E-Machine Engineer at MDL, was a recipient of the prestigious ‘Mela d’Oro’ Marisa Bellisario Award which is reserved for Italy’s most brilliant women graduates in Aerospace, Electrical and Management Engineering. Giada, who studied electrical engineering at the University of L’Aquila, was presented the award at a ceremony attended by Italian President Sergio Mattarella in July of 2021.

Vincenzo Giovagnorio, the mayor of Giada’s home town Tagliacozzo, said, “I am really proud that our fellow citizen Giada Venturini has received the ‘Mela d’Oro’ Maria Bellisario award dedicated to the most brilliant young graduates of the year.
