STOCKHOLM, Sweden, Sep 3, 2024 – Sandvik has been awarded with the distinction “Red Dot”, in the Red Dot Design Award 2024, one of the most prestigious design competitions in the world. The company’s new brand identity is the winner in the technology brand category.

With this recognition, Sandvik will be featured in the globally published yearbook “International Yearbook Brands & Communication Design”. Additionally, its corporate identity will be exhibited at the Museum für Kommunikation in Berlin (Nov 2024 – Jan 2025) and at the Red Dot Design Museum Essen (March – May 2025) and other international exhibition locations.

The new Sandvik visual identity, launched in September 2023, highlights the company’s position as a technology leader, enabling improved productivity, efficiency and sustainability for its customers.
Facts Red Dot Award
Every year, the Red Dot Award honors the best brands and communication design projects. In 2024, submissions in the field of communication design were assessed in 18 categories, while submissions in the field of brands were evaluated across 38 industries. This year’s entries came from around 55 countries.
