University of Rome Tor Vergata, Roboze Announce Scientific Collaboration

BARI, Italy, Aug 27, 2026 – Roboze, the technology company building the manufacturing infrastructure for the world’s most strategic industries, announces the signing of a scientific collaboration agreement with the Department of Enterprise Engineering “Mario Lucertini” at Tor Vergata University of Rome.

The agreement aims to launch joint research activities in the field of innovative PEEK-based materials and high-performance thermoplastic matrices, with a particular focus on the development and characterization of 3D printing filaments for advanced components used in strategic industrial sectors, including aerospace, automotive, biomedical, and defense.

The three-year collaboration is based on a model of scientific reciprocity and may include the development of innovative composite materials, experimental and characterization activities, as well as the organization of workshops, internships, degree theses, and joint PhD programs. Looking ahead, the parties will also evaluate the possibility of establishing a joint laboratory or a dedicated spin-off.

“This agreement represents a strategic step in Roboze’s journey toward continuous innovation in high-performance materials. Collaborating with a department of excellence such as the Department of Enterprise Engineering at Tor Vergata University of Rome will enable us to accelerate the development of new PEEK-based materials, strengthening the connection between scientific research and real-world industrial applications.” said Simone Cuscito, Chief R&D and Product Officer at Roboze.

The academic community has also emphasized the value of the agreement.
