PreForm 3.46.0 is a recommended update for Fuse 1, Fuse 1+, Form 4B, Form 4, Form 4L, Form 4BL, Form 3BL, Form 3L, Form 3B/Form 3B+, Form 3/Form 3+, and Form 2 printers. This release includes a new feature to add parts to a running job on Fuse 1 & 1+. It also has bug fixes for file uploading issues and mouse scrolling, and new Default Settings for Form 4, Form 4L, Form 4BL, Form 3, Form 3L and Form 3BL printers.

New features:

  • Maximize printer efficiency with Add to Running Job (Beta): The “Add to Running Job” feature (Beta) for Fuse 1 & Fuse 1+ enables adding parts to ongoing prints, eliminating wait times between jobs. Quickly respond to urgent orders, streamline daily workflows, and minimize downtime—perfect for dynamic environments and efficient production management.

Improvements:

  • Grouped prints in Voting Center (for SLS): The SLS voting feature now groups prints by date, making it easier to find and vote on prior prints.

      Bug fixes:

  • Fixed issue where some Form 4B jobs could not be uploaded to a printer group with Form 4B printers.
  • Fixed issue with mouse scrolling on the slicer slider.

      Print settings updates:

  • New Default print setting for Tough 1500 V2 Resin at 100 microns for the Form 4 and Form 4L generation printers.
  • New Default print setting for Grey V4.1 Resin at 100 microns for the Form 3 generation printers.
  • New Default print setting for White V4.1 Resin at 100 microns for the Form 3L generation printers.
  • Minor Default print settings update for Grey and Black V5 Resin at 50 microns to version 1.2 for the Form 4L generation printers to reduce print failures for very large, solid parts.
  • Minor Default print settings update for Clear and White V5 Resin at 50 microns to version 1.1 for the Form 4L generation printers to reduce print failures for very large, solid parts.

     Known Issues:

  • When creating new jobs as part of Add to Running Job, the total print time will not update correctly.

    Compatibility:

  • Fuse 1: compatible with firmware version 1.15.3 and later
  • Fuse 1+: compatible with firmware version 1.15.3 and later
  • Form 4B: compatible with firmware version 1.7.2 and later
