Axtra3D Announces New Facility in Vicenza, Italy

CHARLOTTE, NC, USA, Jun 2, 2026 – Axtra3D, a rapidly growing innovator in advanced additive manufacturing technologies, announced a major expansion of its European operations with the acquisition of a significantly larger facility in Vicenza, Italy. The move coincides with the company’s fifth anniversary this April and reflects Axtra3D’s accelerating global momentum, expanding customer adoption, and long-term investment in scalable manufacturing infrastructure.

The new 17,000 square foot (1,600 sq. meter) facility will become the central hub for Axtra3D’s European operations and a cornerstone for the company’s next phase of growth. Designed to support increasing global demand, the site will integrate material validation, advanced application development, product engineering, manufacturing, and customer support operations under one highly connected ecosystem. Since its founding in 2021, Axtra3D has experienced sustained momentum, achieving more than 55% repeat customer growth alongside a consistent year-over-year increase in installed systems worldwide.

The company’s growth has been driven by increasing demand for production-grade additive manufacturing solutions capable of delivering precision, throughput, and application flexibility without traditional tradeoffs.

“The move to this new facility marks a significant milestone in Axtra3D’s evolution,” said Gianni Zitelli, CEO and Founder of Axtra3D. “This expansion is not simply about adding space. It is about building the operational and innovation infrastructure required to support the next generation of additive manufacturing applications at industrial scale.”

He further added, “Over the last several years, we have seen a meaningful shift in how manufacturers approach additive manufacturing, from prototyping toward validated end- use production. Customers increasingly require deeper collaboration, faster validation cycles, and integrated production support. This new facility enables us to strengthen those capabilities while scaling the infrastructure behind Axtra.Workflow, our fully connected manufacturing ecosystem.”

The new Vicenza headquarters was designed with a strong emphasis on long-term operational efficiency and sustainable growth. In addition to expanded manufacturing capacity, the site will support cross-functional collaboration between engineering, materials, software, and customer application teams, creating a more agile environment for innovation and industrial deployment.

Axtra3D also expects the facility to become a key destination for customer engagement across Europe, hosting live demonstrations, technical workshops, validation programs, and strategic development initiatives with manufacturing partners across multiple industries.

The official opening of the new facility is scheduled for June 4, where Axtra3D will host customers, partners, and industry leaders for a special evening event showcasing the company’s expanded capabilities and long-term vision for the future of additive manufacturing.

As Axtra3D enters its next stage of growth, the company remains focused on advancing additive manufacturing technologies that combine speed, precision, scalability, and workflow integration to help manufacturers accelerate innovation and production readiness worldwide.

About Axtra3D

Based in the US and Italy, Axtra3D is a global company specializing in Hi-Speed SLA systems that eliminates tradeoffs between print throughput, accuracy, feature resolution, and surface finish typically found in traditional SLA or DLP systems.

The flagship LumiaX1 Hi-Speed SLA system by Axtra3D represents a significant advancement, combining its Hybrid PhotoSynthesis resin polymerization process with

TruLayer, a layer separation technology. HPS utilizes both a laser and a DLP to image simultaneously, while TruLayer enables rapid detachment of the active print layer, resulting in a 20X throughput improvement while preserving the accuracy and fidelity of SLA parts.

Axtra3D operates with two business models.

Axtra Solutions: This model provides fully optimized, turnkey 3D printing solutions. Customers receive complete print profiles fine-tuned for maximum performance and reliability, supported by Axtra3D’s Applications team and quality material partners.

Axtra OpenAccess: This model further builds on Axtra Solutions™ and allows customers the flexibility to experiment with new materials and applications. It supports innovation and adaptability, enabling added flexibility.
