REDMOND, WA, USA, Aug 24, 2026 – ACTCAD 2027 update build 559 has been released for both Premium and Standard variants. This is a minor release that delivers important fixes, stability improvements, and new functionality as outlined below:
New Commands
- IHISTOGRAM: A new command for displaying and analyzing raster image histograms. It enables users to visualize pixel intensity distributions, making it easier to evaluate image quality and adjust contrast or brightness.
- ICONVOLVE: Introduces convolution filter support for raster images. This allows sharpening, blurring, edge detection, and noise reduction directly within the CAD environment.
- IEXPORT: Provides a simplified workflow for exporting raster images. Users can now save images in multiple formats with enhanced control over resolution, compression, and background settings for better compatibility with external applications.
New Features
- Dimension Grip Options: Dimension entities now include additional grip handles, enabling faster adjustments to dimension lines, text placement, and extension lines for improved precision.
- WMF Export Background Selection: When exporting drawings to WMF format, users can now choose between a white or black background, ensuring better visibility and seamless integration with external documents or presentations.
Enhancements
- MATCHPROP Command: Improved to resolve previously reported property matching issues, ensuring more reliable copying of properties between entities.
- Installer Security: The installer has been reinforced with additional security checks, providing safer deployment and reducing potential vulnerabilities.
Fixes
- Selection Window Crash: Resolved a crash that could occur when creating a selection window after unloading the Properties Palette ARX, improving overall stability.
- Viewport Grip Behavior: Fixed an issue where clipped viewports and their boundary polylines could move twice when adjusting grips with DYNMODE=0, ensuring predictable viewport manipulation.
- IcadGsMultiDevice Crash: Addressed an access violation crash that could occur during tab or window closing, improving reliability in multi-device graphics handling.
- Tree View Display: Corrected a bug where the Tree View displayed “No selection” instead of “PROPOBJLIMIT exceeded” after switching between palette modes, ensuring accurate diagnostic feedback.
