Autodesk, Bentley, ESRI, Trimble Join AASHTOWare Enterprise Alliance

WASHINGTON, DC, USA, Feb 13, 2026 – AASHTOWare, a software division of the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials, recently announced their new Enterprise Alliance with Bentley Systems, Environmental Systems Research Institute, Inc. (ESRI), Autodesk and Trimble.

In 2023, the AASHTOWare Alliance Program officially launched with the intention to fill functional gaps in its software offerings while allowing it to meet the growing needs of its members. Currently, it has included four alliance types; integrator, data, product, and strategic alliances.

“AASHTOWare understands that state agencies use many software solutions to conduct their mission on a daily basis,” said AASHTOWare Director Keith Platte. “This alliance is a recognition that we are committed to working together to fulfill our members’ need for solutions that are seamlessly integrated and data flows easily.”

Throughout the transportation software space, there are several vendors that provide state departments of transportation (DOTs) with a vast number of solutions that are integral to their work. Four of these vendors have been identified by AASHTO members to join forces with AASHTOWare to form an Enterprise Alliance, based on solutions they offer that are instrumental to member agencies and offer benefit to AASHTOWare products through potential data integrations.

This alliance aims to provide a collaborative forum for its members to understand DOT solutions and promote strategic perspectives, including the potential for interoperable technologies, to improve DOT services and meet DOT-driven requests for connectivity and workflow.

Goals of the Enterprise Alliance:

  • Provide a collaborative forum that fosters DOT solutions being agnostic
  • Promote strategic perspectives, allowing all parties to understand how they can work together
  • Provide interoperable technologies to improve services for DOTs and meet DOT-driven requests for connectivity and workflow
  • Provide insights to strategically prepare for industry transformation
