LONDON, UK, Aug 25, 2026 – AVEVA, a global leader in industrial software, today announced the appointment of Brock Ballard as Chief Revenue Officer effective 1 October 2026. Brock joins the team from Bentley Systems following an extensive recruitment process led by AVEVA; he will succeed Sue Quense in the role as she steps into an advisory capacity.
Brock brings over 20 years of senior leadership in software sales, having joined Bentley Systems in 2020 as Vice President and Regional Executive. He was named Chief Revenue Officer in 2023, in charge of all Bentley’s accounts, globally. Previously, Brock held leadership roles at DELMIA Sales, Dassault Systemes and Autodesk Inc. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in communication and information sciences from the University of Alabama.

Quense to remain an Advisor to the AVEVA Executive Leadership Team
Sue Quense will not fully step down from AVEVA, however she will step back from her full-time executive commitments to act in an advisory capacity, something that she has been planning for some time. Sue will work closely with Brock during the transition and beyond.
