FARMINGTON HILLS, MI, USA, Jul 30, 2020 – CCE, a leading provider of advanced CAD interoperability technology, has announced major updates to its EnSuite product line viz. EnSuite, EnSuite-Lite and EnSuite-Cloud.
EnSuite-Cloud was released earlier this year as a free cloud-based CAD viewer product to assist remote working during the COVID crisis. Due to increasing pressures companies are facing to continue to work remotely, EnSuite-Cloud has been much appreciated. As of this announcement, over 17,000 files have been viewed by thousands of users. Since its initial launch in May, many useful features have been added including advanced measure capabilities, section-views as well as the ability to display the assembly tree.
CCE’s commercial products EnSuite and EnSuite-Lite have been updated to support viewing and translating models from CATIA V5-6R2020 (V5R30), NX 1872 and 1899, SOLIDWORKS 2020, Solid Edge 2020, Autodesk Inventor 2020, Creo 6.0, JT 10.3 and Parasolid 31.1 among others. Users can now read and write GLTF format as well. The latest CAD version support is extended to the free EnSuite-Cloud product too. All customers on active subscription can get access to the latest upgrades from EnSuite and EnSuite-Lite.
“This is one of the biggest releases of the year for our interoperability products. Not only have we added support for all the latest CAD versions, we have also included many user requested advanced productivity tools. We continue to invest not only in our paid products like EnSuite and EnSuite-Lite but also on the free cloud-based CAD viewer, EnSuite-Cloud. Clearly, in these challenging times, being able to help remote workers in any way provides much gratification,” said Vinay Wagle, CCE’s V.P. of Sales & Marketing.
All of CCE’s EnSuite-branded products are built using CCE’s proprietary CAD interoperability technology that is currently being licensed by several top CAD Independent Software Vendors (ISVs). As a result, all of CCE’s viewer and translator products are completely CAD independent. Users do not need licenses of the CAD systems to view files of those systems.
