PARIS, France, Jun 19, 2026 – Graitec announced the release of Advance Design 2027, the latest version of its FEM structural analysis and design software. This new release focuses on helping engineering teams work faster, automate repetitive tasks, and interact with structural models in more intuitive ways.
At the heart of Advance Design 2027 are two major innovations: a new Open API and the integrated Graitec Assistant, bringing greater flexibility, automation, and intelligence to everyday engineering workflows.
The new Open API supports integration with common development environments and helps engineering teams build custom workflows, automate repetitive modelling tasks, and run parametric studies with reduced manual interaction.
Advance Design 2027 introduces the Graitec Assistant, built directly into the software to support engineers throughout their design and analysis workflows.
Embedded in Advance Design and aware of the user’s model and context, the AI Assistant provides instant, relevant guidance based on the software’s logic, documentation, and project environment. It helps engineers access information, understand results, and navigate complex workflows more efficiently.
Another highly valuable capability of Graitec Assistant is its ability to ground every response in your company’s own knowledge. By connecting directly to your SharePoint, the Assistant can reference your actual documents, ensuring that answers are relevant, accurate, and aligned with the way your organisation works.
Beyond guidance, the Assistant can also act directly within Advance Design. By connecting conversational AI with the model itself, users can describe their intent and let the Assistant support actions such as creating elements, defining loads, retrieving results, or validating model data.
This capability is enhanced by Skills: reusable, structured workflows designed to automate repetitive tasks, standardize engineering practices, and deliver reliable, repeatable outcomes.
