ODA Releases BimRv .NET SDK for Revit

SCOTTSDALE, AZ, USA, Mar 7, 2022 – Open Design Alliance (ODA), provider of complete interoperability solutions for CAD and BIM, announced the release of a new .NET version of BimRv, its Software Development Kit (SDK) for Autodesk Revit files. BimRv is a stand-alone toolkit for accessing and visualizing Revit data from any application, without dependencies on the native Revit application.

“Web-based products increasingly require access to Revit data,” said Neil Peterson, ODA President. “BimRv .NET provides this access in environments where it is not practical to work with the native Revit application directly.

“BimRv .NET is a convenient, stand-alone solution that is fully compatible with Microsoft Azure. In addition, our licensing model allows web deployment at a fixed annual cost.”

BimRv .NET has a growing set of features that includes:

  • Access to all Revit elements and properties
  • Visualization
  • Conversion of Revit data to IFC
  • Limited creation support

Availability and Pricing

BimRv .NET support is available for download by ODA members from opendesign.com, starting from version 23.1. More information about BimRv can be found at opendesign.com/products/bimrv.
