LIMASSOL, Cyprus, Jul 12, 2024 – SprutCAM X and SprutCAM X Robot update 17.0.16 has been released. This update introduces 57 changes containing bug fixes and workflow improvements.
Highlights:
- Updated smart hints for Cladding 5D operation, Lathe part-off, Adaptive Roughing (Turning), Scallop finishing operation.
- Updated Holder Control section in the Operation Parameters inspector.
Now we can select the edges of a face by double-clicking the mouse while holding down the Shift key. Previously, only tangential edges were selected.
Existing SprutCAM X and SprutCAM X Robot users with an active software maintenance contract (SMC) have been notified about the new release and easily upgrade to benefit from these enhancements. Users who have not received a notification are encouraged to contact their nearest SprutCAM X Reseller for assistance or visit SprutCAM Tech contact page for more information.
Fixed Bugs:
- Fixed errors with synchronization points during multichannel machining
- Fixed errors for 2D Contour operation when working with constraints and tooling
- Fixed errors in case of access rights violation with operation parameters
- Fixed errors with deletion of operation in the first channel during multichannel processing
- Fixed errors when working in the postprocessor generator
- Fixed errors when working with network licenses. They affected the speed of SprutCAM X operation
- Fixed errors in part measurement operations
- Fixed errors when working in 3D CAD module
- Fixed errors when working with splines
- Fixed errors when checking if an imported 3D model is updated
- Fixed errors when running a SprutCAM X update
- Fixed errors when working with tool parameters
- Fixed an error when taking into account the allowance on welding tooling.
- Fixed errors in Machine Maker when assembling a lathe and milling machine
- Corrected an error in the machine tool builder for the limits inscription.
- Fixed errors with visualization
- Fixed errors in Undercut waterline operation
- Fixed an error when working with calculated feed rate
- Fixed errors when working with the Report generator
- Corrected errors in Roughing Rotary operation
- Corrected errors in operation with Fixtures and Setup stages
- Corrected errors in the Waterline roughing operation for the adaptive strategy
