A plug-in is available in Revit to facilitate bi-directional exchanges. This process guarantees the follow-up of data between the stakeolders of a project, throughout the different construction phases.
For calculation and sizing, elec calc BIM has a powerful cable routing algorithm. No more tedious work of estimating cable lengths, as the software is designed to automatically route cables on the digital model. This means that all the characteristics can be retrieved for sizing and for running out additional checks, such as validating the occupancy rate of the cable trays.
