The 3DEXPERIENCE & ENOVIA India User Community Conference 2026, held on April 17 at Dassault Systèmes’ state-of-the-art campus in Hinjewadi, Pune, brought together industry leaders, engineers, and innovators to explore the future of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM). Centered around the theme “Supercharge Your PLM with AI-Powered Virtual Twin Experiences,” the event showcased how Indian enterprises can leverage AI, data intelligence, and virtual twin technologies to drive innovation, efficiency, and transformation—aligned with the vision of Make in India and Atmanirbhar Bharat.
The conference began with an opening address from Dassault Systèmes leadership, setting the tone for a day focused on digital transformation and next-generation engineering practices.
A key highlight was the session by Abis Zaidi, India Sales Director – ENOVIA, Dassault Systèmes India, who spoke about the convergence of AI and PLM. He emphasized how AI-driven insights are transforming traditional data management into a competitive advantage—enabling faster decision-making, predictive analytics, and enhanced user experiences within the ENOVIA ecosystem. He also introduced AI-powered tools such as AURA and LEO, offering a glimpse into the future of intelligent PLM platforms.
The keynote address by Dr. Vanamala Madhusudana Rao, Scientist and Program Director (LCA AF Mk2), Aeronautical Development Agency (ADA), was particularly inspiring. Sharing insights from decades of experience in aerospace development, he highlighted the evolution of design tools and the increasing role of advanced platforms like 3DEXPERIENCE & ENOVIA in handling complex, large-scale national projects. His perspective on leveraging ENOVIA for managing multi-stakeholder programs demonstrated how digital platforms are accelerating India’s journey toward self-reliance in defense and aerospace.
Ritesh Prasad, Industry Process Consultant Senior Manager at Dassault Systèmes, supported the keynote and further elaborated on AI innovations such as AURA, LEO, and MARIE—tools designed to bring deep scientific knowledge closer to engineers. He also discussed virtual companion competencies and generative experiences within ENOVIA.
Industry use cases added significant value to the event. Sreejith Kumar, AVP – Design at Borosil Scientific, shared how the company transitioned from traditional tools to the 3DEXPERIENCE platform to manage increasing product complexity, resulting in improved collaboration, quality, and faster project execution. Similarly, Shigin Bhaskar, Lead PLM at Reliance New Energy Limited, demonstrated how virtual twins are being utilized in new product development to enhance collaboration across distributed teams.
Hitesh Madhrani, India Industry Process Consultant Manager at Dassault Systèmes, provided insights into ENOVIA’s evolving capabilities, including AI integration, generative experiences, and its role as a unified data management platform for both MCAD and ECAD systems. He also presented real-world case studies showcasing scalability and efficiency gains.
The session by Prasad Rajput, Marketing Manager at Dassault Systèmes, highlighted the importance of the ENOVIA User Community as a platform for knowledge sharing, collaboration, and problem-solving among users.
A panel discussion featuring Hemant Kamble (General Manager – R&D, Sujan Contitech) and Rutuja Raverkar (Head – Group Technology Office, Uno Minda), moderated by Gopalkrishna Bhat, offered practical insights into managing complex product portfolios across global operations. The discussion emphasized the role of 3DEXPERIENCE and ENOVIA in connecting product development processes and enhancing collaboration. Both panellists highlighted their growing adoption of AI to streamline workflows and accelerate innovation, while also acknowledging the support of implementation partners EDST and SOLIZE.
Further, Ratish Rao, Industry Process Consulting Director at Dassault Systèmes India, delivered a compelling session on building resilient value networks. He explained how the 3DEXPERIENCE & ENOVIA platform integrates AI to synchronize engineering and sourcing decisions, mitigate risks, and ensure supply chain continuity in an increasingly volatile global environment.
A visit to the 3DEXPERIENCE Lab at the Pune campus added a hands-on dimension to the event. The lab features a FabLab equipped with advanced prototyping tools, including 3D printers, laser cutting machines, and electronics workstations, along with immersive VR demonstration spaces. Supporting startups and researchers with mentorship from over 300 Dassault Systèmes experts, the lab plays a key role in fostering innovation, entrepreneurship, and collaborative research initiatives across India.
Overall, the conference delivered a comprehensive view of how AI-powered PLM and virtual twin technologies are transforming product development and manufacturing. With practical insights, real-world case studies, and forward-looking discussions, the event proved highly relevant for organizations aiming to scale operations and embrace digital transformation.
