TURKU, Finland, Apr 9, 2026 – Midea, a global manufacturer of heating and cooling solutions, has made its Mars Series heat pumps available on MagiCAD Cloud.
A total of seven products are now published as manufacturer verified BIM objects for MagiCAD for AutoCAD, MagiCAD for Revit, MagiCAD for BricsCAD and plain Revit, supporting accurate HVAC design in light commercial and commercial projects.
The release includes two product ranges with capacities from 26 kW up to 70 kW, giving designers access to high temperature R290 heat pumps directly within their BIM workflows.
Two heat pump ranges for different project scales
The Mars Series 26 to 40 kW models are designed for light commercial applications such as smaller office buildings, apartment buildings and residential properties.
Key characteristics include:
– Capacity range from 26 kW to 40 kW
– Leaving water temperature up to 85°C
– A+++ seasonal space heating energy efficiency class
For larger buildings, the Mars Large Series 50 to 70 kW covers commercial applications such as hotels and larger office buildings. These models can also be connected in parallel to meet higher capacity demands.

– Capacity range from 50 kW to 70 kW
– Modular design with parallel connection
– R290 refrigerant with low global warming potential
High temperature performance with low environmental impact
All Mars Series heat pumps use R290 refrigerant, characterised by very low global warming potential and no ozone depletion potential. The units achieve up to A+++ energy efficiency at 35°C under ErP.
With leaving water temperatures of up to 85°C, the heat pumps are suitable for both new build and retrofit projects, including applications where existing radiator systems require higher supply temperatures. The units are designed to operate reliably in low outdoor temperatures, supporting stable heating performance in demanding conditions.
BIM objects for accurate HVAC design
The Midea Mars Series heat pumps are available as BIM objects on MagiCAD Cloud with relevant technical data for sizing and system design. By using manufacturer specific BIM objects, designers can improve coordination, reduce the use of generic components and support more reliable energy calculations.
