Sandvik Inaugurates Innovation Hub in Pune to Accelerate Digital Manufacturing

Apr 28, 2026: Pune, India: Today, Sandvik inaugurated its new Innovation Hub in Pune, India, reinforcing its commitment to digital manufacturing, accelerated innovation, and growth in one of its key strategic markets. The hub strengthens Sandvik’s global innovation ecosystem and supports the development of next-generation solutions in intelligent manufacturing.

Building on its existing Intelligent Manufacturing development site, Sandvik is expanding the location both physically and through a larger engineering footprint across R&D, software, AI, and customer support. The hub will play a central role in advancing digital thread and AI capabilities, driving faster product development and more customer centric solutions for regional and global markets.

The upgraded site offers a modern work environment designed to foster collaboration, creativity, and cross functional teamwork. With open spaces, collaboration areas, and room for future expansion, the hub brings together expertise across Sandvik’s digital manufacturing businesses, with a focus on areas such as CAD/CAM software, artificial intelligence, and end to end digital thread solutions.
