Framatome, Paralloy Strengthen Partnership for Production of High-Performance Cast Parts in France

COURBEVOIE, France, Aug 25, 2026 – Framatome has just acquired a minority equity stake in Manoir France. Manoir France is a subsidiary of British company Paralloy Group, owner of foundries in Saint Dizier (Haute Marne) and Pîtres (Eure). These two sites specialize in the manufacture of highly technical cast parts, including high performance components for the nuclear and defense industries. This investment delivers on the support announced by Framatome at the beginning of 2026, when Manoir France took over the Hachette and Driout foundries, now integrated within Firth Vickers France (a subsidiary of Manoir France).

Manoir France produces high performance metal parts. It supplies key components to the nuclear, defense, aerospace, and petrochemical sectors, particularly for the manufacture of valves and pumps for nuclear power plants, according to very high safety and reliability requirements.

The industrial sites of Manoir France in Pîtres and Saint Dizier employ 450 and 170 employees respectively. Framatome directly contributes to the development of these foundries by supporting the investments needed to secure their activities for the nuclear and defense industries, and by providing expertise in safety, security and quality culture, and in nuclear project management.

“This equity participation consolidates two emblematic foundry sites in France, serving the most demanding industrial sectors, particularly nuclear and defense. It gives us further leverage to strengthen our sovereignty and to secure our supply chains, particularly for the EPR2 program and for the defense industry,” said Grégoire Ponchon, CEO of Framatome.

“Paralloy Group continues to grow its industrial footprint in France and to invest in key strategic sectors, such as energy and defense. This new partnership with Framatome builds on the rich history of Paralloy, Manoir and Hachette and Driout Foundries, and seeks to accelerate investments in capabilities, capacities and best practices to secure these critical supply chains for the long-term future”, said Robert McGowan, President of Manoir France and CEO of Paralloy Group.
