ANN ARBOR, MI, USA, Sep 1, 2026 – CIMdata, Inc., the leading global research, consulting, and education firm specializing in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and the Digital Transformation it enables, today announced that industry veteran Nachiket Pai has joined the firm as Vice President, Global CIMdata Community & Success consulting services, reporting to CIMdata’s President & CEO, Peter Bilello.
In this role, Nachiket will lead the expansion and strategic development of the global CIMdata Community, working closely with PLM software and service providers and financial investment firms worldwide. He will focus on growing CIMdata Community memberships, developing and enhancing strategic relationships, supporting CIMdata Success consulting engagements, and helping clients strategically leverage CIMdata’s market intelligence, research, education, and advisory services.
Nachiket brings more than 18 years of leadership experience across enterprise software, customer success, business development, and operational leadership. Most recently, he served as Head of Customer Success (Americas) at Siemens Digital Industries Software (Siemens), where he led customer success initiatives. During his tenure, he helped organizations maximize value from their software investments while driving customer retention, recurring revenue growth, and executive engagement.
Nachiket also served as Americas Director – Simcenter Support at Siemens, consistently exceeding 90% renewal-rate targets and driving double-digit ARR growth. He began his career in engineering software and simulation at CD-adapco (later acquired by Siemens), progressing from Application Engineer to Engineering Manager, leading the company’s pre- and post-sales organization and helping customers across automotive, aerospace, chemical, oil & gas, and biomedical industries adopt simulation software.

Nachiket holds a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Mumbai and an M.S. in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Syracuse University. He has also completed executive education programs in Finance from Harvard Business School Online and in Negotiation and Leadership from Harvard Law School.
