ALICANTE, Spain, Nov 28, 2023 – CYPE has signed a collaboration agreement with the Engineering Institute of Thailand (EIT) through which the Spanish technology company will collaborate with this society to promote the use of BIM technology among the country’s professionals and develop technological solutions adapted to Thailand’s needs in this workflow.
With the signing of the so-called memorandum of understanding, promoted by Twoplus Soft, CYPE’s distributor in Thailand, is going to join an international cooperation network whose aim is to promote the use of BIM among professionals in the country’s engineering industry through the BIM Institute of Thailand, under the auspices of the EIT.
This way, CYPE’s different technologies and solutions, as well as its common data environment (CDE), BIMserver.center, developed for professional projects, are already part of the digital tools that this laboratory works with to improve the training of professionals, by means of training courses, seminars and practical workshops.
Digitizing information, automating processes, identifying problems in the design phase of a project or facilitating the remote control of safety on a construction site will be some of the advantages that Thai technicians will be able to benefit from thanks to CYPE’s tools. All this together with the possibility of seeing their projects in augmented reality and virtual reality, among other state-of-the-art technologies implemented by CYPE and adapted to the engineering and construction industry.
The Engineering Institute of Thailand currently organizes more than 200 conferences each year, as well as hundreds of professional workshops, seminars and training meetings with the aim of supporting and promoting knowledge in the country’s engineering industry. At the same time, this society is also in charge of setting standards in Thai engineering to improve infrastructure safety and sustainability, as well as seeking out synergies and aligning its codes with international standards.
