SANTA FE, NM, USA, Nov 5, 2026 – Flow Science Mediterranea will host the 2027 FLOW-3D European Users Conference May 24-26, 2027, at the Novotel Paris Vaugirard Montparnasse in Paris, France. The conference brings together engineers, researchers, and scientists from leading companies and institutions to share their simulation work, explore new modeling approaches, and learn about the latest FLOW-3D developments.
“This is the first time the FLOW-3D European Users Conference has come to Paris, and we are proud to host it,” said Stefano Mascetti, Managing Director of Flow Science Mediterranea. “Paris is the city where Navier first presented his equations of fluid motion over two hundred years ago, and it is a natural meeting point for our users across Europe. We have built a program that balances technical depth with time to connect. We will close the conference on the Ilvolo rooftop, with the Eiffel Tower in view, as we recognize the best presentations of the conference.”

The program opens Monday, May 24, with advanced training sessions, followed by a welcome aperitif and poster session. New this year, the poster session features a lightning round of talks, with each poster author giving a short summary of their work. Tuesday and Wednesday feature customer presentations in application-focused tracks and a look at the FLOW-3D product roadmap, presented by Dan Milano, VP of Product Development at Flow Science. The conference program will also feature “A History of CFD,” a talk by Flow Science’s Dr. Michael Barkhudarov, whose work has shaped FLOW-3D for more than three decades. The conference closes Wednesday, May 26, with a closing lunch and Best Presentation Awards at Ilvolo, the rooftop restaurant of the conference hotel. The call for abstracts is open for speaker and poster presentations. Speaker abstracts are due March 5, 2027, and poster abstracts are due April 16, 2027. Early-bird registration is open until January 29, 2027.
“Some of the most valuable ideas for FLOW-3D come out of this conference,” said John Wendelbo, President of Flow Science. “Our users show us how they are applying the software to problems we never anticipated, and those conversations directly shape our development priorities. We are coming to Paris to share what is next on the roadmap and, just as importantly, to hear what our users need from us.”
