BENTIVOGLIO, Italy, May 30, 2023 – Marposs Group has announced its takeover of MeSys, a German company that for over 30 years has specialized in non-contact, radiation-free measurement systems for very thin and flexible flat materials.
Through this operation, we aim to become an increasingly important player in E-Mobility by complementing its portfolio of technologies for the automotive industry with specific new applications for the production of electrodes and separators used in lithium-ion batteries.
By leveraging the devices developed by MeSys, Marposs will be able to expand its range of solutions dedicated to the battery cell production process and consolidate the strategy that has allowed it to become increasingly competitive in the E-Mobility sector, especially thanks to its advanced systems for testing automotive electrics and battery pack, module and cell durability and seal resistance.
