FRIEDRICHSDORF, Germany, Dec 8, 2021 – Maxon has released an incremental update to VFX Suite, version 2.1. Its powerful keying, tracking, cleanup, and visual effects compositing tools for After Effects.
This update incorporates improvements to several VFX Suite tools and adds Metal support for Shadow and Reflection. Spot Clone Tracker, King Pin Tracker and Lens Distortion Matcher are now fully optimized for Apple silicon. Bang has been optimized to calculate blur and glow effects on the GPU for improved performance. And as with all updates, VFX 2.1 fixes various bugs including those that affected Optical Glow falloff, Bang Null creation, Supercomp Match Background and more.
This update is available for all Red Giant Complete and Maxon One subscribers. Users are encouraged to update immediately through the Maxon App.
