HELSINKI, Finland, Dec 1, 2025 – Global BIM quality assurance leader Solibri, a Nemetschek Company, and Singapore-based innovation partner AcePLP announce the public Beta launch of the Compliance Checker for Accessibility, a new digital validation service developed in collaboration with Singapore’s Building and Construction Authority (BCA).
The Compliance Checker for Accessibility enables design teams to validate their BIM models against the Code on Accessibility 2025 through automated, rule-based checks. By bringing structured digital validation into the permit workflow, the Beta marks a significant step toward a more consistent and data-driven review process.
Advancing Compliance Through Automation
Built on openBIM standards and powered by Solibri’s rule-based validation engine, the Compliance Checker for Accessibility allows users to upload BIM models in IFC+SG format for instant, automated analysis. The system identifies non-compliant elements—such as door clearances or ramp gradients—and links each issue directly to the relevant clause in the Accessibility Code 2025. An information checker is provided as part of the process to ensure the models are aligned to the CORENET X Code of Practice, and contain the required objects, attributes, and classifications necessary for accurate accessibility evaluation.
This service provides real-time feedback, significantly improving efficiency, accuracy, and transparency in the design review process. Regulatory authorities benefit from dashboard analytics and consistent compliance insights, enabling faster, data-driven permitting decisions. All model data is processed securely and not retained after validation.
“By automating the code checking workflow, we aim to make regulatory compliance faster and more reliable for everyone involved. The platform is built to be straightforward—check your model, see the outcome, and improve directly.” — Ville Kyytsönen, CEO, Solibri
Building Singapore’s Digital Permit Compliance Future
Accessibility compliance is just the beginning. The modular architecture of the Compliance Checker, powered by Solibri’s rule-based engine, enables future expansion to additional regulatory domains, such as fire safety and other permitting disciplines. By embedding BIM-based rule checking into the national permitting workflow, Singapore is setting a precedent for scalable, transparent, and fully digital code compliance.
“We are giving project teams the clarity and confidence they need to design right the first time. This Beta marks the beginning of a more transparent, consistent, and data-driven compliance ecosystem for our built environment.” — Vanessa Tang, Managing Director, AcePLP
Join the Beta – Validate Your Model and Drive Change
The Beta program is open from November 24, 2025, to May 24, 2026.
Design teams, architects, and BIM professionals are invited to validate their models using the Compliance Checker for Accessibility. Participants may upload IFC models generated from Revit, Archicad, OpenBuildings, or Tekla.
The system provides model-based insights and clause-referenced findings to support timely corrections and more efficient regulatory submissions.
Your feedback will directly inform enhancements to the compliance checking workflow, rule logic, and modelling requirements.
