OREM, UT, USA, Aug 22, 2025 – Coreform has announced the release of Coreform Cubit 2025.8, the latest version of its industry-leading hex meshing software. This update delivers significant improvements to the geometry kernel and meshing engine, a redesigned user interface with scalable vector graphics (SVG) icons, and enhanced usability for both command-line and Python scripting users.

Improved, modernized buttons and icons
Coreform Cubit has a new look! When you download the latest version 2025.8, you will notice a sleeker, more modern look. Most of our icons have been updated and replaced with more modern and intuitive versions. The placement and function of those icons have not changed.
Fundamental upgrades
Coreform Cubit’s user interface framework has been upgraded to Qt6, providing better support for modern desktops. The primary triangle and tetrahedral mesher in Coreform Cubit has been updated to MeshGems 2.15. This upgrade comes with more robustness, better quality elements, and improved capabilities.
Geometry healing change
The geometry healing operation has been improved, but the change may affect your workflows. It is possible that entity ids may change during healing, and journal files using the old healing operation may break. Read more here.
Access your Coreform Cubit license through the new portal
- If you have purchased a Coreform Cubit license, we have created a Coreform account for you and a team for your organization in the new portal. Your email and password have not changed. (If you would like to purchase a license of Coreform Cubit, please contact sales@coreform.com.)
- If you are a new Coreform customer, check your email for a message from Coreform, and click the link to access the Coreform Accounts login page.
- If you are an existing Coreform customer, you can go directly to Coreform Accounts (image below), enter your email and password to access your account. If you have forgotten or have not yet set a password, click “Forgot your password?” to receive a password reset link.
- Your license and the latest download of Coreform Cubit are available in your account. Download and install the appropriate version for your operating system, and enter your Coreform account email and password when prompted. For step-by-step instructions, see our activation page.
