BETA CAE Systems Releases 2025.2HF2 for ANSA, EPILYSIS, META, FATIQ, SPDRM, KOMVOS

LUCERNE, Switzerland, Jun 22, 2026 – BETA CAE Systems is pleased to announce the release of 2nd Hot Fix of 2025.2 for ANSA, EPILYSIS, META, FATIQ, SPDRM and KOMVOS with critical bug fixes and selected implementations.

Known issues resolved in ANSA

Data Management

Material database defined with DM path inside ANSA.defaults, would not be read into ANSA.

Model Browser

When reading and then applying a display model in Model Browser, a warning is now issued in case the display model does not contain all A-points of the subsystem.

Also, when creating a reduced model using a display model, from now on it is cross-checked and confirmed in advance that all A-points of the subsystem are included in the display model.

Connections & Assembly – Seamwelds

Element SETs that were generated by the Connection Manager and were unused, were not output properly.

Nastran Superelement

File output would fail when the “Include pch-file” option was activated under the Superelement settings.

LS-DYNA

Corruption would occur in any *DEFINE_CURVE that was encrypted from within ANSA in versions 2025.2 and HF1 2025.2. These corruptions aren’t automatically fixable and can be addressed in versions HF2 2025.2 and later, only by defining the curves from scratch and re-encrypting them. The corruption doesn’t affect curves that were encrypted with 3rd party software and then input in ANSA. The capability to choose the line from which encryption starts has been removed in version HF2 2025.2 (and in all the versions of the 2025.2 branch that will follow). Encryption will start from line 2, as in versions prior to 2025.1. This capability will be available again in 2026.1.

Optimization

“DESVAR From Entity” command would not work when accessed through the Search engine or DESVAR entity category of the Database Browser.

Moreover, Optimization Tool would not be able to run encrypted session files in DM mode.

Scripting

Unexpected termination would occur upon execution of “base.CalculateHardeningParameters()” script function on Windows OS, when no *.csv and no curve through the Material was assigned.

Known issues resolved in META

General

META would abort when deleting windows with sketches.

Nodal values were incorrectly calculated when switching between fringe drawing options.

Abaqus

Abaqus contact status results were not displayed for certain surfaces in intermediate analysis steps.

Math Operations on Field Data

Calculating the average values by selecting calculated maximum or minimum states was not feasible up to now.

Project Files & METADB

When saving a Project file with references to result files, some annotations were not consistently exported.

States & Animation

Switching between states could make the results disappear in cases of extremely small time-step.

Read Results

Reading 2D results from a .pch file containing both CELAS1 and CELAS2 results was not handled correctly.

Managing Curve Data

Attributes of user‑defined curves were not recalculated when editing a curve.

Fringebar

Fringe color visualization on the model was not properly updated after applying a display style.

Known issues resolved in KOMVOS

Configuration – Settings

KOMVOS user settings would always get copied from previous version (if any), resulting in overwriting current version sdm_settings.db.

Data Management

Upon launching, it would not be possible to select among the available settings profiles in SPDRM, in case of connection through external secure server (SSO).

Furthermore, saving a subsystem from Part Manager would always reach the timeout limit regardless of the subsystem’s size. This behavior would occur only with single sign of connection to SPDRM.

Teamcenter Utilities

“Teamcenter Utilities > Export Structure” would export the latest revision and not the selected one.

Known issues resolved in SPDRM

Installer

This release introduces support for MySQL 8.4 (LTS).

The update addresses the recent end of Extended Support for MySQL 8.0 (LTS) and ensures continued compatibility with a fully supported MySQL LTS version.

Support for MySQL 8.4 is available for both new (clean) installations and upgrades of existing MySQL-based deployments of SPDRM.

Upgrading existing SPDRM deployments to MySQL 8.4 is supported through a two‑step process:

1. Upgrade SPDRM to the latest supported version using the standard updater.

2. Migrate the SPDRM server configuration for MySQL 8.4 compatibility using a dedicated migration script available upon request.

Data Tree

DM tree filters would not be applied correctly in case of Simulation Runs.

Data Lifecycle

ANSA Parts with manually added Study Version, would be spinned-up upon save, although no conflicts existed.
