LUCERNE, Switzerland, May 8, 2026 – BETA CAE Systems is pleased to announce the release of the bug-fix version 25.1.5, for ANSA, EPILYSIS, META, KOMVOS and SPDRM, with critical bug fixes and selected implementations.

Known issues resolved in ANSA
Data Management
Mesh parameters file was not read at all, while connected to a DM.
LS-DYNA
A couple of cases were encountered with “*MAT_108 *MAT_ORTHO_ELASTIC_PLASTIC”.
In specific, executing “Fringe > M.SCALE” would not color the model when its material was “*MAT_108 *MAT_ORTHO_ELASTIC_PLASTIC”.
The ADDED MASS, SCALED MASS and MASS INCR. % would not be calculated for “*MAT_108 *MAT_ORTHO_ELASTIC_PLASTIC”.
Furthermore, when the LS-DYNA ID SCHEMA was used, SETs might get the same IDs with different SET types while renumbering Includes. For instance, a SET could get the same ID with a SET_PART or vice versa.
Abaqus
Focusing on STEP Manager, MODEL CHANGE would be written out even if it was set to “NO”.
Kinetics
ANSA would exit abnormally while trying to load a flexible body in Flex Tools after deleting its modal file.
Modal results for flex bodies would not be calculated on Linux OS.
In addition, model Info would display wrong number of DOFs and redundant constraints on models with flexible bodies.
Renumber
The execution of “NODE > Renumber” function would cause an unexpected termination when called from the search engine.
Curve Functions
Simply accessing *DEFINE_CURVE would lead to software abortion.
Known issues resolved in META
Nastran
Non-Linear Plastic Strain was not read correctly since version 25.1.3.
LS-DYNA
Focusing on 2D Plots, nodout curves were not read correctly in case of high IDs.
Abaqus
Analytical surfaces were not read correctly from an .odb file.
Ansys
Middle node results on Ansys SHELL132 elements would have erroneous values.
Adams
The Flex Bodies Normalized Coordinates results would be displayed incorrectly as 2D plots.
FEMZIP
Geometry was not properly read from FEMZIP ERF files. In specific, curves from .erfh5 files compressed in FEMZIP version16.28 and later would not be read, unless “File Format” was switched explicitly to “Pam-Crash”, instead of “Auto detect”.
Project Files & METADB
Project file comments could not be retrieved when loading a project file saved using lossless settings.
Known issues resolved in KOMVOS
Data Management – Teamcenter Utilities
Execution of “Teamcenter Utilities > Export Structure” function would export the latest revision and not the selected one.
In addition, pressing the “Download missing parts from Teamcenter” would consistently download only parts with missing CAD files.
Known issues resolved in SPDRM
Data Management
“GetAvailableLibraryItems” script function would erroneously return “None” when searching for RLIs in folders.
Users Management – Security
Under certain circumstances, the ACL settings would fail to be exported through a remote SPDRM Client session.

Where to download from
- BETA LM Toolkit and all the supported versions of the software of BETA CAE Systems are now available from Cadence.
- To access the Cadence Downloads and the Cadence Support (ASK) portals you are required to first create your CadenceID, if you do not already have one.
What to download
- Login to Cadence Downloads using your CadenceID.
- Follow the options ANSAEPILYSISMETA 25.1, Release Version ANSA EPILYSIS META 25.1 HF5, Release Date 30-Apr-2026, select the required Operating System and get the available installers.
- The installed files should replace any pre-releases or other files of this release downloaded prior to that date.
Important
The license files that are issued by Cadence Design Systems from February 2026 require that BETA LM 7.3 is installed on the license server. All supported versions of the BETA CAE Systems software and previously released license files are compatible with BETA LM v7.3.
BETA LM Toolkit and all the supported versions of the software of BETA CAE Systems are now available from Cadence. Login to Cadence Downloads using your CadenceID. New customers can download BETA LM v7.3 directly for Windows or Linux to produce the license server identification details required for licensing and a CadenceID.
It is important that you download and deploy BETA LM v7.3, so you can renew or upgrade your license file.
