MAYSVILLE, KY, USA, Jun 16, 2023 – Carlson has released the latest version of Carlson Scan. Version 1.7.14 includes a number of updates and improvements to the functionality of the software.
Carlson Scan is the included operational software for the C-ALS, C-ALS Gyro and Void Scanner+ systems that are part of the Laser Measurement Devices product line. The previous version of Carlson Scan was version 1.3.6, released for Windows and Android on October 2020.
Many of the general updates and changes to Carlson Scan include a major user interface overhaul, custom scan options for running partial horizontal and vertical scans. The software also features more language options. This version is available for current owners of C-ALS and Void Scanner+ systems.
Improvements for the C-ALS include a new video scan option where a video can be recorded in one 360-degree sweep around the C-ALS head. Carlson Scan version 1.7.14 will be compatible with the upcoming C-ALS HD releases.
