The release continues the development cadence Blink has followed since its April 2025 launch, shaped by customer feedback, and is available to every existing Blink through a free firmware update.
Blink pairs high-quality point cloud data with 360° images to create a clear, accurate view of any environment, with guided workflows and automated registration that keep work moving from capture to final delivery. It operates within a connected environment: the Stream App gives real-time feedback during capture, FARO Sphere XG enables cloud-based processing and collaboration, and SCENE keeps data local for registration, analysis and quality control.
