GUANGMING, China, May 22, 2026 – On May 15, 2026, the Additive Manufacturing Industry Matchmaking Conference and the inauguration ceremony of Kings 3D Southwest Headquarters were successfully held in Chengdu Economic Development Zone, Sichuan, China.
As a landmark project supporting industrial upgrading and advanced manufacturing transformation in the region, the official launch of the Kings 3DSouthwest Headquarters marks a significant step toward building a new ecosystem for additive manufacturing in Southwest China.

Building the First Full-Chain 3D Printing Base in Southwest China
The project, with a total investment of RMB 3.5 billion (approximately USD 500 million), is jointly developed by Kings 3D Group and Chengdu Economic Development Capital Group. As a strategic hub for regional expansion, the facility integrates “AI + 3D printing” technologies and covers both metal and non-metal additive manufacturing processes.
The center provides a complete industrial chain, including:
- 3D scanning and digital design
- Precision machining
- Additive manufacturing
- Post-processing services
This end-to-end capability enables one-stop solutions for industries such as automotive manufacturing, aerospace, medical devices, cultural and creative industries, and education.

Large-Scale Production Capacity with Advanced Technologies
The Chengdu Kings 3D facility is equipped with a wide range of advanced systems, including:
- SLM metal 3D printing
- SLA stereolithography
- SLS nylon printing
- FGF large-format pellet printing
- FDM 3D printing
With hundreds of industrial-grade machines already in operation and plans to expand to over a thousand systems, the project has officially entered full production. Once fully completed, it will become the largest and most comprehensive 3D printing service center in Southwest China.

Driving Industry Collaboration and Innovation
The event also featured multiple signing ceremonies, bringing together enterprises, universities, and industry organizations across the additive manufacturing ecosystem.
Collaborations were established in areas including:
- Industrial chain integration
- Technology innovation
- Talent development
