REHOVOT, Israel and KOBE, Japan, Aug 24, 2026 – XJet 3D, a pioneer in 3D printing technology for high-value metal and technical ceramic parts, announced a new sales partnership with ZEN Global Co., Ltd. (“ZEN Global”), a Japan-based additive manufacturing technology company. Under the agreement, ZEN Global will act as XJet’s sales partner and representative in Japan, developing both Carmel system sales and parts manufacturing project opportunities for customers across the country.
XJet’s proprietary NanoParticle Jetting (NPJ) technology enables the direct, powderless 3D printing of fully dense metal and technical ceramic parts, including precious metals, with complex internal geometries, fine feature detail, and production-grade surface quality. XJet’s Carmel series systems, together with its support-removal equipment, consumables, and on-demand parts production service, address applications spanning aerospace, medical, semiconductor, and precious metals and jewelry manufacturing.
Under the agreement, ZEN Global will represent XJet across relevant industry verticals in Japan, identify and develop manufacturing project opportunities for fulfillment by XJet, and introduce and support prospective purchasers of XJet’s Carmel systems.
“Japan is home to some of the world’s most demanding manufacturers, and getting this partnership right matters to us,” said Gilad Gans, Chief Business Officer of XJet. “Kayne Ikeda and the ZEN Global team bring exactly the combination we were looking for: real engineering credibility, deep experience building additive manufacturing channels in this market, and a genuine understanding of how to take a new production technology from first conversation to qualified, ongoing business. We’re looking forward to building this together.”
“XJet’s NPJ technology addresses a gap I’ve seen in the Japanese market for some time: a genuine industrial-grade path to high-value metal and ceramic parts, including precious metals, without the limitations of powder-based processes,” said Kayne Ikeda, Founder and CEO of ZEN Global. “Our focus will be on identifying the right applications and the right partners, and supporting them from first evaluation through to full commercial adoption, whether that means a parts production project or a Carmel system on their own floor.”
