At the Global Industrie show, Datakit will be presenting its entire range of solutions and the new features of its 2024 and 2025 quarterly releases, which further enhance the performance of its convertors:
- Speed of conversion is even more important when using visualisation solutions, realistic rendering or virtual reality. Our solution for writing XML PLM files is an illustration of this, with the ability to write assembly trees with all nodes and links to external parts, instances and all
available metadata. Another example is the improved handling of meshes in CGR or nurbs in ProE/Creo Parametric, which makes it easier to read files and faster to use them. - Reliability of the technical data exchanged, with ongoing improvements to the robustness of the convertors, even in extreme cases, and the availability of CAD data (3D geometry, tolerances, dimensions, UUID/GUID, assembly) for all those who want to compare CAD models with the quality information available (QIF to PDF, QIF to JT and QIF to STEP converters are available from version 2025.1).
- Processing of large and detailed models, also for the BIM field with, for example, detailed recognition of individual units and colour overloads in Revit or reading of GUIDs in NavisWorks, thus promoting the traceability of labelled data.
- Supported data range, geometry, 2D, 3D BREP, hierarchy, names (including unique part identifiers), configurations, PMIs (graphical or semantic), FDT (annotations, dimensions, tolerances, fixed, moveable, tables) for models and assemblies, properties (colours, visibility, textures, levels of details), virtual or imported components, attributes, meshes, images, metadata
